Private, Quiet, Comfortable

This is a lovely place. Very quiet and private, comfortable beds in every room which was a relief for those of us with wonky backs. It was also a great place for our dogs. There is an enclosed yard and walks down the untraveled road or to the point. Close enough to Acadia for easy day trips and for those of you who Loved the Sardine Museum, you should have a go at the Telephone Museum. The kitchen was well supplied with only two items we could not find, a roasting pan for a chicken, we made do with a cookie sheet, and a cheese slicer, Hardly a matter for whining, This gives you a good idea of how well stocked the kitchen was. When we arrived there was a Golden Eagle sitting in a tree right by the house. We thought perhaps Scott or Daria had nailed its feet to the limb because it just sat patiently for having it's picture taken. Later the next day it was back along with a Bald Eagle on the beach at the same time. We heard but did not see a Loon also many Cormarants and ducks. If you want privacy, quiet and comfort plus spectacular views, this is the place for you. Also my intrepid Husband went swimming off the point every day.
